Is it too early to be thinking about Christmas presents? Nah! We're already at the point in the year when people have begun to mark off the number of shopping days till Christmas (76 at the time of writing). It's a task that's that much easier if you have a calendar, and themed calendars for the following year make great Christmas stocking filler gifts. Which brings us to Loke Battlemats' Calendar of Many Adventures 2026...

On the one hand, it's a regular calendar for the upcoming year - except that for each month the calendar records at least one celebratory day that you won't find on most other calendar; for example, 27 June 'International Pineapple Day' or 24 February 'I Hate Coriander Day'. Several of the indicated dates relate to Role Playing Games (RPGs), so 4 March is 'International GMs Day' and 1 April is 'Bard Appreciation Day' - tho' perhaps that's just an April Fool.
The calendar, of course, is aimed at RPGers. In place of the picture each month of a cute furry animal featured on the majority of calendars now that the once de rigueur pictures of scantily clad women 'playmates' have happily gone out of fashion, the Calendar of Many Adventures offers a Loke Battlemat with a 12 x 12 square grid. These are all usable for playing your own RPG adventures but the Calendar goes one better: on the bottom right-hand corner of each month there's a QR code with which you can download a playable standalone adventure that ties in with that month's grid.
That means with Loke's Calendar of Many Adventures you have not just a fully functional conventional calendar but also a dozen playable games to carry you through the whole year!
