I Am Done is a light, humorous, and avowedly silly family-friendly party game for 2-5 players. It's designed by Marco Teubner and published by Pegasus Spiele.
On your turn, you either draw a card or play a card and follow its effect. That's it. Depending on the wording on the card, cards are either played to the discard pile or to a tableau in front of the player. There are cards too with effects that let you draw more cards; if you're able to play one or two of those then you'll have more options.
To win, you simply have to have in your tableau cards with the captions 'I', 'Am' and 'Done'. There are also a couple of other cards in the deck that can deliver instant wins. Oh, and there are cards that require a player to physically destroy the card when playing it; much to the chagrin of the game's owner! Happily, however, Pegasus Spiele have secreted a pack of replacements for those cards should the need arise.
Of course, there are cards that let you steal from others, so I Am Done is often chaotic and sometimes frustrating - especially if you are close to victory only to have one of your word cards snatched from your tableau. There's humour in some of the card text but you can expect the various player interactions to also generate much amusement.
And Done I Am is essentially more of the same but with a Yoda card justifying the reordering of the words! You can play with either deck or, for even more chaos, try shuffling both decks together... Even with steal actions getting in the way of an anticipated victory, games mostly take just 10–20 minutes; so think of this party card game as a light filler.
