Football Feud!
Football Feud! is a lively competitive card game for 2–6 players. It's designed by Andrew Williams and tho' it's published by Sporting Chance Games in Australia it loosely models American Football. That said, you really don't need to know much about that sport in order to play and enjoy this brisk hand management card game.

Like American Football, Football Feud! is ordinarily played over four quarters (hands). Players are dealt seven cards and can discard any number of those cards to draw replacements. They then decide which five cards to play in the current quarter and which two cards to hold over to the next quarter.
Field goal cards simply score 3 points but to score a touchdown (7 points) you need to assemble number cards that total 100 (ie: a run down the field of 100 yards) or three of a kind. It's possible to score multiple touchdowns in a single hand. If you can't get to 100 with your five numbered cards you're not going to score a touchdown so you're probably best off putting your highest cards among the two set aside for your next hand.
There are several special cards in the deck, including Quarterbacks and Running Backs that let you double the value of all the corresponding colour of cards played and an Intercept card that lets you steal a card from an opponent and add it to your five card lineup. An Intercept is especially valuable in games with a higher player count because the more opponents in the game the more chance there is that one of them will be playing a high value card for you to snaffle.
Play is essentially simultaneous in Football Feud!, so games take only around 15 minutes regardless of whether you're playing it as a two player head-to-head or with the maximum complement of six players. If you're watching an actual game of American Football, Football Feud! is quick enough that you could play it during the football game's interval! It all makes for a fun family game, and if you're playing with younger children it's a game that'll help them practice their arithmetic.
